It seems that gold is everywhere. The price of gold is so high that even a small amount of dust is worth alot. Has anyone panned for gold and where!

I don't think there is any gold around here, just the liquid gold I fill my car up with every other day.  Is there gold east of the Mississippi? I thought it was just out west.  |

I've panned for gold a few times around where I live, no results, but some people have found small pieces.
