Rat, find ya a place where ya aint gotta drive forever to fish. I've heard folks tell of spendin a hunderd bucks a trip, just to fish. Not me, I fish for the pocketbook. Costs me bout a gallon or two in gas (dependin on the truck I drive) and maybe a snack. That fish I caught last night all cleaned was prolly bouta dollar a pound with the cost of gas. Still beats hamberger. Dang bugs were thinck last night. Not bitin bugs, just them ear buzzers. The kind the buzz in yer ears. I tried lightin a lil fire. Didnt do much. Then I tried makin coffee. the pot was just startin to perk an turn color when I gotta bite. Got up to check on it an heard a crash. Thought another pole fell over an No! was my danged coffee pot fell over. Didnt even getta sip.  But still, all was good. caught fish, heard the coyotes, the fish were workin the suface an splashin. the coons were chatterin. Was a good night. |

I would do ok being quiet unless I drank a pot of coffee, then I wouldn't be able to sit still very long and I would talk a lot, huh, hb? lol I would be constantly checkin my hook or doing something. I guess hb would kick the coffee pot over.  hb will you bait my hook, I know... i am too girly to fish, i can't put that on my hook. its too yucky. |
