RealAge Tip of the Day -------------------------------------------------------- A Fruit for Lung Health
Breathe easier by munching on fruit for your lungs.
Eating a couple of apples per week could reduce the risk of developing asthma and improve overall lung function, new research has revealed. Apples contain a variety of health-promoting phytochemicals, including quercetin, which may be the reason for the lung-boosting benefits.

You are not kidding about being expensive Spyder. I now have to buy sale fruit and tomatoes $1.79 a pound for Roma's? Got a decent cantaloupe for 99 cents, some bananas, and oranges. I wish I liked apples but I never have. Not even apple pie. Bleah....I'm a berry kinda gal. ;D

Canteloupe/99 cents! Way to go gurl!! It is strange. I love apples, but don't really care for cooked apples. I love to core them and put crunchy peanut butter in them.....yum!

I have pears an cherry trees. I have some apples too. But they're get towards the end I think. They're bout 40 years old. And dont put out like they used to. Plus the wind the last couple years, has taken a couple big trees out.
