Got to go back to Vanderbilt tomorrow. Just a regular scheduled check-up. 3 hours and 3 hours back for a 15 minute visit. Kinda sucks but it has to be done. Some good thoughts for a safe trip and a good report would be appreciated.

Always good thoughts for ya joyce! Watch them big ole trucks. The good thing is find one that is hittin bout 90 and follow a good distance behind em. If he gets pulled over you will be safe. Maybe this will be the last trip up there for a while. At least I think they took the rain chance out of the forecast.

I did get a good report, thank God. ;D After being examined she told me I would not need a MRI or PET Scan because the type cancer I had is more detectable through examinations and me reporting any unusual symptoms to her. I do have to go back in May to Jackson and see the radiologist and be examined again and then back to Nashville in August. Sorta swapping back and forth for at least a year, then the examines will be about once every 6 months. I am so thankful that this seems to be under control. I am still on some meds and will continue them and like she said report any unusual symptoms or hurting. We got about 10 miles outside of Nashville and bam traffic was backed up both lanes and barely moving. We went 10 mph for about 15 miles not having a clue what was going on. Very frustrating. Finally we saw a sign where it was lane closure due to construction on I-40. Sure was a mess. Then after we got thru that, everybody was in such a hurry we were almost run over 3 different times by semi's lane switching back and forth. I was so glad to see my driveway. She does want me to go next week and have my thyroid tested. She thinks that could be the cause for the hair loss and staying so cold all the time. I will set that up next week. Thanks everybody for the prayers and good thoughts.

I am proud you got a good report. Just sorry your day was full of mishaps, but isn't that normal for everyone, or are we just the cursed ones. lol

She suffers from a bad case of ROAD RAGE! and we aren't talking a light case of it, we are talking fingers flying, yelling and hollering and zipping and zooming in traffic...an hour and a half drive can be shortened to about 30 minutes max! IF you ride with her request a set of "oh shit" handles!

haha, mamafrog, she thinks thats bad. She should ride with a man that races anyone that even pulls up in the other lane beside him. The light turns green and its neck snapping time. You learn to lean back, hang on, and hope no one pulls out in front of you!
