my goodness yes, you can eat wild strawberries. They are better tasting than tame berries, in my opinion. when i was younger (before the lake went in) there was this place that hadda field of wild strwberries. I wud just bout founder every year, eatin them things.

You can dry the leafs out for later years.And cedar bark tea works well for head ache's

Yer kinda handy to have around, Cree. I'll be lookin forward to more posts of this nature. All the old folks that knew all about nature's pharmacy were bout gone, time i was old enuff to take an interest. But the stuff I was shown as a kid, I still remember and use regularly.

How do you suggest storing them? Can you put em in a fruit jar or a warshed out pickle jar? should they be put in zip lock bag? or a plastic container with a lid?
Can you just let them dry out in a back room or is it better to sun dry em.
Can you start a new thread about all this or maybe put it in the Herbs thread that is stickied.

I sundry them then place them in a mason jar.Then I will put the jar in the cupboard when it's cooler so they don't dry out even more.
