In all my years of hunting and fishing I've only seen a Game Warden just one time and that was about 35 years ago while fishing the Wabash River. How often will you see or talk with a Game Warden or DNR Officer while out hunting or fishing?

How often? Pert near everytime I go fishing. I spose if i went hunting on public lands it would be the same. One year, every time I went fishing, the Lake Patrol officer(sheriff appointed) checked for my license. I finally asked him after the thrid or forth time if he didnt remember me from before. He asked if I was bein a smart ass? When I finally got a boat, it seemed like every time I went out a Water Patrol stopped an checked me. Then , just a couple or three years ago I went one time fishing (for the whole year) and the lady conservation agent checked me. At a creek mind you. The only one person to drive by while I was fishing offa an old bridge, and it happened to be an agent. Maybe I should fish in the Wabash river?

I haven't gotten card when hunting or fishing... I guess we are just lucky, but then we always have our permits.
