Don't have any stories or any pictures yet  Papafrog said all during bow season that come rifle season he would have himself a deer...well yesterday he shot at an 8-point buck and missed  Hopefully tonight we have a deer story and a picture ;D |

As of Monday Morning still no deer , But on yesturdays hunt Papafrog was sitting in his little cubby hole waiting on the site of deer when all of once he heard this thrashing and leaves being walked on (thought there were a herd of something coming his way) So anyways he was sitting there and still listening & watching and it was getting closer to behind him. Then all at once it got quite and Papafrog heard talking and comotion going on behind him (good thing he isnt one of them that just shoot at just any noise) anyways the noisey ones started talking and were getting kinda loud when papafrog heard one of them say they oughta just shoot the locks off of the tree stands (these werent even papafrogs stands but they have been there fer years and everyone uses them ) This is an area where all the hunters knows one another cause they have all been hunting there over the years (our son is 17 and this is where he first started and got his first deer & papa has hunted there um probally 9-10 years before that) Anyways papa heard there intendions and stepped out of his spot and ask what they were doing and they said NOTHING well papa told them that they could use the stand but dont be thearin it up and and anyways they had words and papa told them that appearantly they werent there for the deer so they needed to just mosey on . Well when they were leaving they were just target shooting or shooting at whatever they wanted GRRRR. Our son was taught just the same as when papa and his brother were being taught by there dad to respect other hunters,landowners and foremost the firearms. What really pi$$ed me off is when he said that they were probally in there early to mid 50's Now you know that they should have leaned along time ago about respecting the outdoors hunter.
Ok just needed to vent some so I will go now.

No pics yet Just 8 points! Whenever I get my camera downloaded I have some pictures (no points) but Papafrog got him a small deer ;D Maybe tonight he will come in with a trophy buck |

Well as of Monday at 4:38 pm All that we have is one has a CHAPPED A$$ and the other is in DEEP DEPRESSION and 2 of us has SORE JAWS AND WET PANTS. We will keep ya posted as the week goes by LOL |

Well hb since you asked its not what your thinkin We have come to the conclusion that they go to the woods to make up a wild half truth deer hunting story and it has to be half true cause the stories are better than a Fishing story |

I didnt get no deer, but I got me a squirrel thursday mornin. Boy that scope sure helps. Was just like old times, when I could still see. prolly gonna be tuff as shoe leather. Mister squirrel had nuts bigger'n mine. Reckon the tuffer he is, the longer he'll chew. JC aint got nuttin on me. I can take a couple old squirrels and feed a thousand.  ok, I'll shut up now. |
