It looks like it will be good weather for hunting, not too hot not too cold.It rained here a little this morning.A nice shower today would make it nice to quiet down the crunchy leaves and cut down on the chance of fire getting out around deer camps. This will be the first opening morning I have missed in many years but I'm just not getting around good this year and the 100 mile trip down to the family farm would take too big a toll on me.I wish everyone the best of luck and a safe return.Remember to make sure of your target before you shoot and let us know how you do.

I hope everybody has good luck tomorrow. And yes please be careful. There is usually at least a couple of hunting accidents around here every year.

uncle Hillbilly do you mean that the amish just stopped out of nowhere and come up to your door and said "can you please call in my deer for me?" We had 3 deer hanging in the garage at the end of the evening tonight...still time to for more! My uncle had come back from Kansas and went hunting with them. We had a doe, from opening morning, a button buck from this morning and another buck ... not sure how many points from this afternoon! They are definately moving!! Keep them coming! Good luck to all you deer hunters out there. We will hopefully get us some more deer before it is all said and done ;D *pictures will come soon...I KNOW! I KNOW! I have been saying that! I was going to post them on Wednesday, then my little brother totaled his car and I went and dealt with that BUT the time is getting closer...I have a BUNCH to get posted everywhere...not only on this site!*

Yep she sure is. I can say that since I live 500 miles away. I ain't got nutin' to worry bout. Now mamafrog, that's a different story. Reckon you should have said what you did. Hadn't heard any deer tales round here yet. It always the same one every year. OMG, you should have seen that buck that got away this morning. He was the biggest one I ever seen. Had to have been at least a 12 pointer and as big as a horse. blah blah blah. I'm sure none of ya'll ever have any stories bout the one that got away.

Yep, it will sound like a gang war around some of the areas thru here in the morning. Get my route done and get my ass back to the house and stay in.
