Has anyone done wild boar hunting? We have places here in Michigan where you pay to hunt them. The past couple of years, they have been escaping from these preserves. Now they seem to be everywhere.I've heard if you take a domestic pig and put him in the wild it takes only a few days before he becomes wild.

Sounds like romantic walks in the woods could be dangerous there. Don't wild boars charge at you?

I guess there's people around here that hunt them. I know online locally they were talking about having problems with them in the next town (Coarsegold), they were destroying bushes and such. When my brother was a state firefighter, he got charged by a couple when they were out fighting fires, says it got real scary a couple times.

It would be scary, they have those big eye-teeth. Here you can hunt them and only need a small game license. They can get rather hugh. Long ago I raised pigs,I wouldn't want one charging me,bitting me.There are few hundred pounds. If I see one hope its on my BBQ.lol

I got chased up a tree by a wild boar one time. It could of been funny but I didn't think so at the time.
