WEll camping in VA beach it is 900.00 a month. ( almost it is 865.00 during season and 700 .00 in off peak season. ) and in NC it is 300 a month where Hubby is. Every place differs in price ranges. Round here it is all river camping, no campgrounds unless you get towards Flatwoods then there is a KOA .. Me I would rather camp by the river....

There father my dead head city kid would come plane right away by say-ing can't even take your grand kids to the good lake for there birthday wish. And when was the last time you saw them. You maybe a back woods country bum but your grandkids would like to see you now and than sick or not. Hate the city where thay live so bad I won't even go there. Like I said it's for the grandkids and I know where we'll get fish and have fun. There's and inland out there that I would camp on if it where just the three kids and me.But it's not so there would be to many for that little inland. Just hope the weather holds and I don't get sick. That would make it hard to get some large mouth bass and have a really good time swimming with the kids and other fun stuff.

I know my luck would hold out. Weather man say's it will stink for camping. My brain dead son almost forgot about this weekend and I had to buy a new light kit for the boat thanks to some kind of wild life that was hungry for copper wire. I hope when it went poody it remember what copper feels like coming out the rear-end. What a mess tho's wires are. And it's ownly Monday.

Thursday july the 30 th started out like the weather man said. Bad Camping weather for the next few days.Witch-meant till next week. Boy was he right. It rained, it had high winds. It had lots of rainbows and even a time when you could here a pin drop. Later that evening the weather did what I thought it would so I headed out to otter lake with my friends. I stoped at lease once to take a photo of a triple rainbow from end to end out in the middle of no-where. But I'll talk about that later. We stoped at the bait store and got some stuff we needed and headed out to set up camp. Now that was funny. Three people and a dog. I had this three room tent. This tent had two bed rooms and a living room or what ever you needed it for.I'm 5' 11" and I can stand up in all the rooms. All room have doors with zippers and floors and windows. This tent is light wait but very strong. It takes three people to put it up smoothly most the time. OH by the way I gave that tent to my grandkids and I'll never go camping like that again. I have better ways. After all was said and done. We three started to set the tent up. While Jazz the dog sat down under the big pine tree's to laugh at us. It was later an we thought we had all the numbers right for all the poles, till we tryed to put them together. That was a big joke by it's self. By this time Jazz had layed down with all 4 paws straight up to the rising moon. Cave man went to fire up his lantern and fire up it did. Some how the valve broke as it lite and it was a big fire fast. The two of us got the burning lantern in the fire pit and just put wet and I mean wet fire wood on top of it. It burned for three hours befor we needed to put more wood on it.

Ownly a red-neck use's his junk lantern to start a camp fire of soaking wet soft wood. I started this day out with the diarrhea and at this time of night I was ready for the out-house. I felt a little better and headed back to camp. The moon had risen high into the sky by this time. It's bright light shined like a flash light in the night.Beem's of moon light coming down through the tall 20 foot com-bow of tree branches. Lit the way back to the camp site. Just than after love-ing the moon beem's. I saw some lighting bugs.Man were thay big. I had to check this out. So I cut through the tree's . I was like I was back in the marine corps. I wanted to get as close to those bugs as I could. All of a sudden I'm falling on Jazz sleeping by a racoon nest on the other side of our camp spot. And here my two friends put on these little blue lights and I mean little led lights on there forheads still try-ing to put the tent up.GGrrrrr. I walk to the other side of the camp spot and saw the power box. I opened the little door up and a green lite was on. HHmmmm. In cavemans trunk of his car there was a box of christmas lites. It was 100 foot of 1/2" round rope lites and thay where white. You could walk on them you could jump on them and thay just stayed working. So this red-neck old Rustygril took over everything. First I made a lite road to the big tent. From there I put lites at all four sides of the floor on the out side of the tent. From there you could now see with out a flash lite or little blue bugs glued to your forhead, making you look like a big lighting bug.(LOL) GGrrrrr. Any-how the tent finnaly was up the right way and there were lots of ways to fine your way in the dark.(LOL). So you'd think. We still have lots to do yet.
