Drove the tractor thru the garden today. It was more solid than the yard. Thinkin bout diskin it an either dumpin all my seeds in the broadcaster an havin at it. or dumpin em all in the seeder an takin off. Meybe I'll catch up to the rest of ya that way.
Hadda drag off a cherry tree that had blown down durin the high winds the other night. Goats cant eat the leaves if they're wilted. While I had the tractor out, I pulled a few trees outta the ground. A russian olive which spreads like wildfire if ya dont do sumpthin with em. and a few elms which I fed to the goats. They strip an elm like its cotton candy.
Dad useta alway pull a tree rather than just cut it, so ya get roots an all. That is if it aint too big. More rain expected tomorrow afternoon an on into wed. Bout time, its gettin kinda dry. I only made bout six inch ruts today. Well, everywhere cept the garden.
