:(Don't have a tractor. Wish I did, just one of the small ones with a bushhog on the back. Have about 3 acres I guess, fenced in, use to have some animals, horse and goats, got rid of em. It would be easier to bushhog it than to take my riding mower. I'm wearing the mower out

I ran into a snag with the Oliver...the piston they sent was a 4 ring job and mine has 3 rings.I'm afraid it would throw it out of balance. They can't find a piston with 3 rings on it and I have called all over the state looking for one.Hmmmm....

critter i bet with a good pair of scales you could balance the new piston to weight the same as the old pistons. its just a thought

I had thought of that. That's what I will have to do if I can't find the right one.I may have more compression on the new piston with 4 rings instead of 3.The main concern is the wasted rings I bought.I had to buy a whole set,I couldn't buy them for the one cylinder. At $30 a cylinder(for rings) it's a shame to have 3 cylinders worth I can't use(they are a different width).I have a good set of digital scales I can match the pistons with.
