Increase Your Lighter Flame Size
Mar 3, 2007
A short step by step instruction document allowing you to increase the size of a disposable lighter flame.
Get a disposable lighter
1. Take of the metal casing around the area where the flame comes out 2. Find the little flame adjuster around where the gas comes out 3. Lift it up until it is clear of the little plastic wheel that adjusts the flame size
You can now do this part in 2 different ways:
Turn the wheel to the right as much as you want OR Turn the plastic adjuster to the left put on the wheel and turn right repeating steps 4 and 5 as many times as you want
1. Replace the plastic toggle on the small adjusting wheel 2. Replace the metal casing around the lighter
Test the lighter to check it works and marvel at the size of it

Seems like a lot of trouble to do but I thought it was interesting you could do this rather than throw it away.
I have a big vase full of disposable lighters, I get one with every carton of cigs...until I told them, no thanks, don't need anymore. If one doesn't light good, I throw it away and use another one.
