sink...hate to mention it but ya'll need to bundle up good mosta' the week......
only sposed to get to 48 tuesday.......brrrrr......
wednesday...68 but winds 17-20 mph with gusts to 29 mph........good luck with trajectory in that.....no tellin' whatcha' might manage to get cuza' the wind ....i reckon it could be anythin' from moles to canadian geese..........
then thursday high of 42....brrrrr for real......friday 45....brrrr still....
saturday 52....that's good....it'll seem balmy compared to the 40s kinda' days.......
have ya considered the possibility that maybe ya ain't sposed to hunt mosta' this week?......

I'll trade you your wednesday for ours ... we gonna get some more snow..... not gonna get above 42 all week... an 18 for the low....

And so goes another Fall Season. Went several times, but didn see very many. Judgin by th shootin around me, others had better luck. There is more huntin pressure then there once was; I was th only one hunted there for several years. Now there's several bow hunters all fall an gun hunters too. Crops are different then they had been, an cover is disappearin. Fence rows cleared, as well as wooly bed grounds, and th grazing is more intense an there's more people in th area all thru th year. That don't seem ta bother urban deer that were born in th city, but it does push th wild ones out! I'm just glad I got ta hunt it at its prime a few years ago. I'll hafta git off m'lazy ol butt an find me some new country, I reckon. Muzzle loadin season starts in a couple a days an that might be a good time ta scout around.

You can just come here an hunt Sinker... We got a whole mountain an if your brave enough to climb past the rock cliff you will find the big ones... But then ya got to drag them all the way back..... That is pretty much why no one hunts up there ..... Too long a hike....

I thanky kindly fer th offer, Snowflake. Still got muzzleloader, antlerless an another youth season ta go. Awta be enuff deer ta go around time thems over with. Have a good huntin season, an enjoy yer feast today.

Day 2; Saw a doe on th way in ta th stand. Nuthin else. Booooooo on deer huntin !!!!! Probly go agin a bit later. ;D Why would you saw a deer on the way to the stand?  |
