Missouri hasn't started sendin out their reports yet, so this is just info gathered locally. Talked to a man yesterdy who had been fishin on th Sac, and said they had caught a few small channels there. He's mostly a crappie an white bass enthusiast, but who knows; he might live long enuff ta git over it. We are gittin some weather and rain, so as far as fishin is concerned; anything could happen. Long range weather predictions lean toward a stormy spring herebouts, but this IS Missouri, an all bets are off in wet an dry weather!
Fishin reportin is by no means exclusive to anybody. If ya got news, an wanta post it; by all means do it. All reports welcome None of th catters I talked to had wet a line yet an I haven't either, so that's all fer now

As far as South Carolina, Ms. Kitty seems to pretty well have things sewn up on the fishin' front, so I guess the word for the day is to watch her and do what she's doin'..........

Stopped at our local lake yesterday. A guy had his rod with him but fond out that there was still 2 inches of ice on the lake. The ice was like glass and would not support any weight. 50 mph winds today with 30 degree temp. No fishing in lakes for another week here in Pa.

1st fishin' adventure of the year...2/12 this is a reasonable facsimile of me with the catfish i caught today at the conservation pond....i specialize in catchin' dinky fish... ;D..... countin' me, there were 4 of us fishin'....we know each other 'cuz we all fish there regularly....no one had caught anything when i got there....was told that none of the regulars has caught anything so far this year........within 15 minutes i, the only female of all the regulars, showed 'em how it's done!!!.... only stayed a couple of hours due to it bein' kinda' cold in the late afternoon....didn't get any bites after catchin' that one....no one else was gettin' bites either.... i honest to goodness did this sort of happy feet fish dance to celebrate catchin' the first fish of the season...i was also sorta' hollerin' "YES!!!" as i did the dance...just seemed like the right thing to do today.....normally i am a bit more reserved.... .....the next happy feet fish dance will be when i FINALLY catch a big 'un and break the dinky fish curse i seem to be under.... ;D... it felt SO good to be fishin'......ain't fishin' wonderful?.....

nature, don't belittle yer catch! Statisticly, a 3 in. fish caught in early Feb, given th facts that nobody here was a witness, and fishin-people being th fantabulous story-tellers they are, sed fishy could weigh 9 lb. 3 oz. , took 3 hours ta catch, thru th ice, in a blizzard, outa th brush, on a crappie rig, in th middle of th nite, on somebody's birthday, on th first cast, holdin yer pants up with yer elbows cause yer suspenders broke!!!!!! Whatta fish!?! Wish I'da cawt one like that! Hahahaha Aside from that, congrats on yer fish ( an yer little dance).

Ran inta a frienda mine today at th gas station. I was pumpin gas an he drove by on th way out. Place was busy; Sunday afternoon an all.... I was just teasin when I asked him how was fishin down his way. A car had pulled up behind him an he was already pullin away, but he hollered, "42 yesterdy; all bluecats; See ya." He's strictly catch an release an usually only uses no more than 2 poles. First time I bout cried in a gas station since th prices came down!

tally bend......where the cidjits usta get excited about maybe goin' to...so they could fish for marlin, as advertised, right?....
i just loved that story.....and hope to one day be able to steal the idea and use it here in my neck of the woods...do a lil' advertising for the area lakes... ;D.......just might start tellin' folks that i've heard they've stocked grand lake with fresh water hybrid marlin and tuna or somethin'... ;D...strictly for entertainment purposes you understand......
thanks for the clue....might hafta' do a lil road trip for a lil fishin'.....soon as it gets warmer... ain't into bein' miserably cold when fishin'......but i am into hopin' to break the dinky fish curse this year....y'all are so fortunate to have that kinda' fishin' so near to ya......
