POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP/ CATFISH CLASSIC
POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP:
*Entry into the points championship / Catfish Classic is a one time fee of $15 per year. This will be used for plaques, prizes, and any other necessary expenses that might be incurred. This fee is due at the beginning of the first tournament you fish. If for some reason you cannot pay the $15, we will allow a minimum of $5 per tourney to be paid towards the fee for the first 3 tourneys you fish. You WILL NOT however receive points OR qualify for free entry until the fee is paid in full.
* Points will be awarded to anglers who have paid their $15 points championship fee as follows:
* 1st Place – 25 pts * 8th Place – 6 pts
* 2nd Place – 22 pts * 9th Place – 4 pts
* 3rd Place – 19 pts ** All Others – 3 pts
* 4th Place – 16 pts * Participation – 2 pts
* 5th Place – 13 pts * Big Fish – 3 pts

CATFISH CLASSIC:
* The top 15 places in the points who have fished at least 9 regular season tournaments will qualify for the Classic. Any of these 15 who have placed 1st or 2nd in a regular season tournament, AFTER having paid their points championship fee in full, will receive free entry. All others will be required to pay the standard $15 tournament fee of which 100% will go to the classic pot.
*Tuscarawas River: *Registration: 3:30pm – 4:00 pm *Weigh-in: 10:00pm
* All regular season tournament rules will be followed at the Classic including payouts with a few exceptions. The BIG FISH pot will be set at $50. There will NOT be an odd fish pot UNLESS there is enough interest to start one. This will require an additional fee to be paid by ALL interested parties.
* There will be $2 of each angler’s tournament entry fee going into the Catfish Classic pot. The Classic pot has the potential to be very large. Based on having 20 anglers, per tournament, throughout the year, we estimate that 1st place will pay about $330, 2nd place $220, and big fish $50. This pot could be larger or smaller depending on the number of entries for the year.
