Good luck with the scooter, HB! I love mine .... when it runs, lol. It needs a lot of repairs right now, before I can drive it again. That and it is time to get the tags & insurance on it again. I am toying with the idea of selling mine while I have someone wanting it.

I bought my Roketa from a All New Sports in Kansas. Came with a good warranty. They company had all these good reviews and I even had a customer come through the flea market once that was from there, knew of them, and said they were a great little business. Then I tried to use that warranty and get a couple of parts. When I got it in, the antennae was broken and the floor (feet) mats weren't the right ones. Guess what, no luck getting anyone to do anything, couldn't even get any answers. Next thing I know the complaint boards all over the place were full of complaints with this company and they disappeared. One complaint pointed out that they had moved to Oklahoma and reopened under another name.... Okay, that was good for me, NOT. They are back out of business again .... again with all kinds of complaints, and now their website is just an 'information board' instead of the store site it was. They don't even list their address any more.

Between needing to renew insurance (and can't find anyone anymore that will insure it), tags, and parts (and my brother & nephew have done their part fidgeting and breaking parts on it, too), I don't know if I will ever get to drive mine again. If I had the money, I would get one of those newer (name brand) 600cc scooters. ;D

Oh, yes, try typing in ..... Roketa scooters complaints (search) and see what comes up. Unbelievable!!!

If I had the money, I would have a Harley. If I had half the money, I would have a decent street-legal trail bike to go anywhere including fishing. I dont. But I do have a tractor with perty big tires. ;D

Here in Mo, if its under 50cc's you dont havta license it, nor insure it, nor wear a helmet, nor can you ride it on major highways. Perty much the same for a bicycle.

I think I'll be better off just parking it till winter for a cold weather project. I gonna have a camper to fix up soon, and already got folks wantin to rent it, and I aint even seen it yet. The closest room to rent is twenty miles away. A long ways from the fishin holes. Bout five more campers/cabins and I can cut back from flippin burgers.

Hey hilly, just set up a bunch of tents and an outhouse, they will probably rent those to be close to the fishing too.

lol hilly, my nieghbor has a Honda Silverwing 600cc scooter for sale for $4500. Want me to tell him you will take it?? He said it will do over 120mph and suppose to get 58mpg. If I could afford it, I would be riding it today, but that's not gonna happen unless I come into some money I don't know about.

Sure thing! Only $4500 bucks? Heck, I mite take two. But, um, prolly not. For that much I could get a new truck.

Oh and for DT, Them motorized bicycles, I just read yesterday in the local paper, that they're against the local ordinance. And so are against the law in the town just south of here. I know theres a couple fellers that have em down there. And I spect they ain't happy.

Lets be sure and ground the kids so they cant have fun, No matter who all it affects.
