No supper for me tonight, I had chinese at lunch and I know I went way over my sodium that I'm suppose to be monitoring really close. Found out last Wed that my kidneys are only working at half mast.

I ended up with roasted chicken and a BIG baked sweet potato, lol. Still had the homemade bread, though. I'll let you two know when the soup and chili get done. Tonight will be popcorn chicken and another BIG baked sweet potato (good sale.... 28 cents a pound on the sweet potatoes and 6.99 for 20 lbs of frozen popcorn chicken)

Made a one pot meal with my rice cooker. Take a box of Pasta Roni, any flavor, add some frozen meatballs and frozen veggies. Add about14 oz. water, cook for about 20 minutes (in my rice cooker), and ya gotta a meal. Tastes pretty good on a cold day.

good thing my gum is healing. stopped by work today and one of the mexican girls said I just hadda try her soup. It had cactus and hominy in it. I asked what she did with the pricks. She said she bought it in a jar at walmart. came without the pricks. ha Wasn't bad. looked like green beans and who knows what it tasted like. it was perty spicey. Did have some chunks of some kinda meat. She said it was beef. I have my doubts. Then I stopped by the mechanics shop and he offered me some spicy crackers. the first couple was perty good, the next one I got was HOT!!! I dunno what I'll have fer supper, but I bet it's gonna be real food for a change.

Our KFC shut down up here 2 years ago and we actually miss it. It's something when the best chicken in town is the KFC ain't it? Tonight having left over soup from yesterday. Still real cold, was down to 26 last night. Lots of sun out there today, but looks like clouds coming, so soup sounds good.

Yummy! Those greens and that Chicken Noodle soup both sounds great!
It is nearly 11:30pm and I still don't know what I am having tonight. My back is out and I am too tired to cook, so a couple of those bananas that are getting really ripe, to go with the hot chocolate that I just drank, just might be dinner.

I did and it did not end well Needless to say we ordered Pizza ;D Actually My wife does pork steaks that way all the time. Puts them in a skillet, just long enough to brown them, then puts them in the crockpot, with mushroom soup, milk, and some shopped onions . She lets them simmer on low heat for 2 to 3 hours, then serves them with mashed potatoes. It's one of my favorite meals.

Actually doesn't sound too bad. Last week I hadda toof dug out and that evening, mushroom soup was all I could find in the way of soup. I cracked a couple eggs in it to give it some body. It wasn't bad either. Last night was our christmas dinner at work. so I had lotsa stuff I dunno what was. Tonight I had sketti. Whatever it is, it always comes out in the end.

Those pork chops and the spaghetti sure do sound good. Hope your tooth (or lack of) is healing up well. Tonight I deep fried some fresh green beans, sprinkled them with some sea salt and garlic powder... tossed them .... then added a splash of soy sauce and tossed again. Really good! Not sure if I will eat anything else, or not, because I eat too many of those, and then I ate way too many of my homemade chocolate chip cookies.

The green beans look good! Last night I made chicken and noodles with carrots and onions and seasonings in the pot. Had some left over cornbread with it. My son and his girlfriend are here visiting.
Tonight we are having chili...it's a simmerin in the pot and I'll make more cornbread. Figure the kids can eat left-overs while i'm workin....
