cenaub4; thoes are some beautiful flowers. but i'm having a hard time understanding, how you can call yourself a plant geek, just cause you talk too your plants. I understand the part about the not having alot of friends, and I talk too my plants, but I also talk too, the fish, birds, my car, the dog, and my best friend, my old fat cat. so what kind of a geek, does that make me?

No, I tend to go round saying things out loud to other people, like 'Oh, that Epiphyllum strictum is a night bloomer with good scent.' The first time I told my mother I really wanted a Kalanchoe beharensis, she threated to wash my mouth out. The next time I told her that her Euphorbia milii was growing very well, and looking good, she looked sideways at me and said 'Bless you, you DID just sneeze, right?' I talk to all my plants, all the time. I'm almost afraid to tell y'all that I have about 300 different ones in pots. Yep, touched in the head, definately. But my mommy loves me! We have 3 cats, and 5 chickens. I have one cat that is strictly mine, and she talks back. Sleeps under the covers with me. Follows me around. Comes when I call. She is more like my child than my child! I try not to go round making judgements about folks. Especially ones I just met. I would never begin to tell you what kind of geek you are...

OH, tell Elmer I said Hi!!!
Golly, I miss him.
Yeah, you're right. I had great friends. It takes time to see what friends are made of, and realize that even though you didn't know it, you were blessed.

How is his little brother doing? Last time he and I talked they had put stints in to drain the fluid, and had a couple of complications. I haven't heard anything for 27 years.
