I betcha in the last week I already got 10 different seed and flower catalogs thru the mail. Not that I mind, but geeshhhh. My 2 garden spots are knee deep in mud and deer tracks, cause they done tore the electric fences down. It's December, not March. I look at em and wish, but my gosh. I think I'm on every mailing list from Maine to California when it comes to seed catalogs. If I ever learn how to do the picture deal, I'll post some on here of our place, my gardens and flowers.

Gosh, I haven't got a seed catalog in ages. I guess if you don't order anything for a long time they just quit sending them. I bet I could find the website and sign up for one tho. I love looking at em!

Yeah, Pine Tree has good books though!
I get garden catalogs through the year. I keep em, from season to season. Mainly if I need to ID something, of plot out a 'pie-in-the-sky' bit that I might not think of on my own.
Don'cha know? YOu spend more if they give you all dark, wet, muddy winter to fill out that order form , than just two weeks in Spring when they KNOW you will be busy, busy, busy.
I learned to quit ordering seeds from Pine Tree in Maine to plant in California!
Seymors Seeds is a good specialty, hard to find one. They do photos, also, rather than illustrations. Golly, I could hook you folks up. Ask HB about me and catalogs. I bet he still gets silly ones I put him on the mailing list for!
you know, I keep that basket right over there. Lemme see...

Yea, those are some good uns. I already get some of em.Good point about placing those large orders durning the winter instead of spring. I try alot of the stuff that ain't suppose to grow in Zone 7. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't. I know whatca mean about the cool stuff in the catalogs. I usually try bout the end of Feb. or first of March to get my early garden in. I already got some buttercups peeping thru the ground. They do that every year. Crazy thangs.
