Went to auction tonight, er last night. Well, Friday night, whenever that was.
Last year a guy that has a greenhouse brought tons of plants an sold em in the local auction house. I came home with I think 21 flats of plants.
This year I had put the camper back on the truck an made shelves for it an got there an no mater plants. So I asked his wife an she said the Mennities had just came to their place an bought all they had, vegatables anyway. Well, cept for a flat of large cherry maters an a flat of cukes. So thats what I came home with. Bout 72 mater plants (in a flat) and bout 36 cukes.
They also got rid of a bunch of seeds, them ones that come packaged and I got them too. SO Mamafrog, if ya need anything I prolly got it.
They sure sold the dickens outta flowers tho. Cant believe someone would pay forty some bucks for a danged ol flower. He had flowers in tubs an boxes an buckets an them hangy up things. And sumthin that amazed me was these lil boxes made outta slab wood, the kind with the bark still on, complete with flowers that were bloomin, brought upwards of thirty bucks. I'm definatly in the wrong bizness.
