06 Spring Blooms

This is a succulent that is slow growing and pretty boring 9 months of the year. Right now, it doesn't look boring, cause its showing off.

Now, this plant itself, looks pretty spectacular, but only going into Fall. If it could see its way to having strips AND flowers it would win some ribbons!

This is a Sedum or 'stone crop' type of plant.

Aloe variagata, or 'Partrige Breast Aloe' decided to bless with flowers this year. In this pix, you can also see some sunburn, AND another flower spike just peeking out of the center of the parent bunch.

This is a plain ole hybrid no name Aloe, that blooms its little heart out. There are 6 bloom stalks on this plant, at the beginning of March!

My cacti won't bloom till around June or so, to danged cold up here right now. But they get some right purty blooms on them when the time comes. I noticed on Saturday when I was coming home that the wild lupine is trying to start blooming, down just below Coarsegold, a sure sign that we really will get a spring, LOL!
