Ingredients: 1 yellow cake mix 1 large box of vanilla pudding 1 can of crushed pineapple-drained 1 container of frozen whipped topping, thawed
Bake the cake according to the instructions, using a 9x13 pan. Cool the cake completely. Poke holes with the handle of a wooden spoon around the top of the cake. Mix the pudding according to the box instructions and pour over the cake. Spread the well drained pineapple over the pudding. Top with the whipped topping. Notes: You can use sugar free pudding and light whipped topping if you wish.

That does sound very good! Does anyone have a recipe for an "electric skillet pineapple upside down cake" my grandmother used to make them, but like most of the people in that era, she didnt write down most of her recipes! If anyone would happen to have that recipe could you please post it. Thank you!

Thanks for the recipe, Snowflake. I made the cake this evening and it was soooo yummy! I added some sliced bananas to the top of the pudding before putting on the pineapple. A few strawberries on top of the whipped cream would be good, too. Ugghhh......I ate too much of it, though! Sorry Hilly. Was gonna send ya some, but it just wouldn't fit in my zip drive.
