Ooooo, I can help you pick! Really, I can. I DO NOT recommend the chickens that look like crows only bigger. They are spooky, mean, flighty (in the truest sense of the word) and eat continually. They also bully established 'in charge' chickens but allow themselves to be dominated by lessers. I am fearful that this one of mine may end up starving to death, since she can't keep chasing the dominate hen away from food and keep the rest out of her goodies! It annoys me that they are illustrations rather than photos. You might try www.feathersite.com to look at the real thing in chick and adult form. But if you need any votes... I'm available! |
