You named your goats, April and Josephine! Do I dare ask, why? When are you getting cows, pigs and sheep? Then you will have all the milk you want and need, the bacon you want with your eggs and all the wool coats you need in the winter to work your livestock You could open a petting zoo and earn some extra $$'s ;D

I been namin em after the kids I work with. Now ALL of em want goats named after em. Musta started sumthin here. Cows, pigs an sheep are on the want list. Pigs prolly next (justa couple). For sheep, I want meat sheep (no shearing). And cows, I would rather have some of the minature cows. They only grow to bout 38 inches tall and do everything a big cow does. What comes next is really depending on the bargains I find.

Do they think they are famous now cause they have a goat named after them! Maybe it is cause they think your carrying their name on in your family, since you are naming your kids after them! :-\ I didn't know that they had minature cows, I knew that they did minature horses...but I thought if a cow stayed small forever it was a RUNT! ~ Confused again! ~ Before long your going to have to move further back if you keep getting animals, it sounds like a petting zoo there already ;D

I think with the roosters that sure to hatch out, I'll name them after the boys at work. Afterall, they run around with their peckers on their face. Heres an example of miniture cattle. www.minicattle.com/

I love miniature horses and donkeys. Some people even have them in their backyards in the cities, which I think is wrong. They need more space than that as small as some of the yards are out here. Hmmmm, maybe I could get some Banty roosters and hens, a few pygmy goats, some miniature horses and donkeys and cows and put them on my dad's 13 acres. Think he'd notice if I tell the critters to hide behind the rocks?
