Only in Alaska........This guy raised an abandoned moose calf with his horses, and believe it or not, he has trained it for lumber removal and other hauling tasks. Given the 2,000 pounds of robust muscle, and the splayed, grippy hooves, he claims it is the best work animal he has. He says the secret to keeping the moose around is a sweet salt lick, although during the rut he disappears for a couple of weeks, but always, always comes home.... Wow ( If this is real just think of the possibilities !!! )

I suppose you could do this with any deer/elk/whatever that you raised. Wouldn't it be somthing to use a couple of moose (or would that be meese? ) to pull a sleigh in winter?

So, since he was raised with horses and thinks he is a horse, do you think he might breed with a horse. That sure would be a strong Morse or a Hoose. Well, I guess he won't if he leaves during that time tho.
