Went out to feed this mornin, an no sign of the kid. Looked high an low. In an under an walked the fence lookin fer signs of sumpthin. Nuthin. Nuthin at all. Walked clear down to the creek an around where the old fox den was. Nuttin. Hadda convoy of cats following me. One crawled into a hole an got into a fight with sumpthin. Came back with no scars. Brave sucker. Hate to admit it but Sadsack wudda never done that.
Kid still gone bout noon. Figger it musta been a ufo abduction sicne no signs of anything. No hiar, no tracks, no scuffs, no nuttin. Rosie (Mom) was havin a cow pacin the pen. Poor thang.
Bout 2pm I heard em out jumpin on the tub playin king of the mountain an looked out. There was this lil white thing jumpin an bouncin all over the place. Just like nuttin happened.
My only guess is that he crawled thru the panel an under the old brush hog an went to sleep or some such place. The wind was blowin bouta hunnerd here, So he wudnt heard nuttin. Dang goat. I gonna wait till he's older an kick his butt for stressin out his mom an me.
