Thought since a lot of us enjoy a good cuppa coffee we could post a few recipes here for the drink or even recipes that revolve around coffee.... Found this one while searching for a recipe for mocha coffees..... Irish Coffee Strong Coffee Sugar, optional* 1-1/2 ounces (3 tablespoons) Irish Whiskey Sweetened Whipped Cream

It needs to be a good quality coffee ! Hubby likes Maxwell House, son # 2 Likes Foldgers, and I like Kona Blend, I like strong coffee, so I put 7 cups of water to 3 scoops of coffee, my scoop is about 2 T. ( never measured it. so not real sure) I get my coffee online cause I get the beans and grind them when I want a cup. That way they don't loose flavor. www.millstone.com/ourcoffees/

i got some Millstone coffee at walmart and tried it this morning, It seemed better than the Folgers that I have been using.. They have the kind that you can grind at Wally world. Maybe next time I will try that. I like my coffe strong.. I have been using I coffee measure (I think its 2 Tablespoons) Per cup of water on the coffee pot... So for 12 cups of coffe thats marked on the pot, I use 6 measures of coffee... I thought maybe I was using too much coffee, so I tried cutting back but it stills got that bitter tast....

Recently I read somewhere that you can mix up a brownie mix and substitute coffee for the water in it. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds WONDERFUL and I plan to give it a try over the holidays.
