Alternative, i.e., natural, health care is illegal in Tennessee Pharmacist fined for natural therapies (1 million dollars!) Published: Sept. 14, 2007 at 12:16 AM NASHVILLE, Sept. 14 (UPI) -- A Tennessee pharmacist has received a $1 million fine for treating customers at his health-food store with juices and dietary supplements. The Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners ruled in May that Larry Rawdon's practice of treating ailments such as cancer with alternative therapies is harmful, The Nashville Tennessean reported Thursday. The $1 million fine is the largest the board has ever handed out, the newspaper said. A former patient of the Hohenwald, Tenn., pharmacist has created the group MyHealthMyChoice to raise money for Rawdon's fine and petition to make alternative health care legal in Tennessee, the newspaper reported. source: www.newmediaexplorer.org/chris/2007/09/30/natural_health_care_is_illegal_in_tennessee.htmIm glad I dont live there. That is insane. Drug companies are against natural remedies and they tell us these drugs are tested for decades but most have so many side effects you have to have another drug for that. I think that is their goal, to sell more drugs. If we had listened more to things passed down from great grandparents that had to use things from nature, we would all be better off. I wouldn't mind moving there and having a miniature goat and cow but they would be my pets and I would need a room on the cabin with a dirt floor so I could bring em inside during cold weather. I would spoil them and never use them for food. In reality, I would not do well on a farm. I couldn't let go of my fondness of the animals to kill them for food.
