For Swamper, I reckon. I found a new deer stand on my place, complete with salt block. And thought bout stickin a trail camera near it to see who's been huntin on my place. (plus seein what all I got down there in the thick of the brush) Cameras with night vision are perty much pricey. Cuz I sure wudnt want one with a flash, or they'd steal it too. Specially since I been takin their stands. Im gettin quite a collection. ;D So I reckon I'm askin if theres anywhere to find one cheaper than bout $150. ? I even looked at security cameras with night vision, but they're only good for up to 300 feet. (the wireless models) If its one of my neighbor's kids, I'd really like to be able to send their parents a pic of them sneekin around on my place. If not, Least I'd have grounds for action. Or I could hava deer stand yard sale an see who shows up. lol

well hilly, cuddeback has one with infered,no flash for around $ 430 and the range is well taking a guess around 30 to 40 feet-my pic's were around 20 feet...Your better off with that security one your talking about..Mine has the flash-I won it at a hunters banquet.

Umm, Let me redo that bout the security part. That camera said it was wireless an wud only transmit to a receiver up to bout 300 feet. (nearest plug in is bout a thousand feet away or more.) Well, prolly the place is bouta quarter mile away from the house. However far that is in feets. I wud guess it picks up an area dang near that far away in the lens. I gotta friend that uses em on his storage bins. Still, it aint practical. I'm guessin that one from wally world is bout the cheapest at $150. They got a even cheaper model for bout $50. It has flash. Wud be cool to see what all is out there, but i think the poachers wud steal it, once they seen the flash. Meybe just getta infared scope an poach some poachers.

I'm thinkin I mite just get that flash one at wally world. The cheap one fer 50 bucks. The more I think bout it, the more I'd like to know what all is really out there.
So Swamper, the flash dont really skeer em off? I wud think one wud get alotta pics of deer bout four feet off the ground, when they jump cause of the flash?
