Been helpin a couple friends run their lines for bouta month. This morning we took em out. Mainly cuz of weekend water traffic.
Well, as we were running them an taking off the hooks we caught four lil (what we call) white cats, and one itty bitty flathead.
The white cats prolly weighec bout 2-3 pounds. The flathead weighed in at only 74 pounds.
Heres the spects on the flathead.
Weight-74#
Length-54"
Girth-31"
Head and tail width-13"
and had whiskers 9 1/2 "
This was the biggest flat head I have ever seen in person.
Will post some pics if I can get Cupcake to scan some for me later on.

HB it will probally closer to at least the end of the week maybe not who knows with her but she is very very busy all this week. I will have to read this to papafrog later and then he will have to call his brother lol things that amuse them around here lol:)

Thats a nice Flathead Hillbilly, papafrog has done went to bed but if I think of it tomarrow and the guy up the road comes down I will pull it up for them to see I also noticed that the one standing on the other side of it looks real tickled I dont think he gets to excited on anything does he? |

the guy on the left was sick that day. thats why he didnt go that morning. But he came down when his son (bottom) called him even before we had him in the boat. |

HOLLY TAMALES Hill, now THAT'S a fish. How in the good heck did you get that monster in the boat or on the shore if ya was not in a boat? That fish woulda scared the bejesus outa me and I have caught some big fish in my time. Did you get that guy on a trot line? Do you know what a yo yo is? a fishin yo yo that is.

Wow, that is some fish Hil!!! The only time I have seen a fish that big, is when I was deep sea fishing. Wow!!!!!
