Stuff you might find in a typical tacklebox.
Tackle-Box Checklist
Fishing line Bobbers Swivels, to keep fishing line from twisting Leaders Sinkers Different sizes of hooks Pliers, to help remove hooks Stringer, to hold all the fish you catch Sharp knife Ruler/scale Flashlight First-aid kit Insect repellent Sunscreen
Some of this might vary, depending on the type/s of fish yer targeting to catch.
I have two tackle boxes. One for catfish and other big fish, and one for perch, crappy, bass and other bait sized fish. Then I have an even smaller box inside of the perch box for fishing creeks, etc.
We can elaborate if anyone wants to discuss this.

Tackle box should also include binoculars for sunbathers, a noisy device for those who get lost, and vittles. Matches or a lighter might come in handy, as well as kleenex by the roll! I bout fergot extra chaw!

Thought of some more essentials:
A compfy chair, cold beer if it is hot, a flask of brandy if it is cold, blanket (may be needed before the brandy kicks in), pillow (needed in either temperature conditions), emmmm did I miss anything?

Oh yeah, I forgot them items. I was meanin in yer tackle box. I also carry most of the above mentioned items as well. Cept for the alcohol, pillow and blankie. I do carry extra clothes tho, and extra jackets. Extra socks come in real handy if ya get yer feet wet. I hate cold soggy feet (unless I'm chunky dunkin). since I fish mostly at night, I carry several means of lighting....Flashlights, lanterns, etc. Good thing I drive my tackle box.

I'm in with hilly, truck is my big box then several littler ones. Ones I'm toten up and down the bank shrank a little over the winter. Why do I need 200+ hooks and sinkers, gonna get ticked off and quit before I lose that many.

ok are we talkin fishin or campin people...lol! I'm all about comfort but it's hard to get too much in the boat and stay afloat. unless we're bank fishin. then there is different stuff dependin on if you're day fishin or night fishin.....poles, limb lines or jug fishin. alot of varibles here. so I am one of those that packs everything i need in my car for all kinds of fishin which ends up bein campin....LOVE IT!!!! Can't wait!!!
