I'm stickin this note up here to list sites that have free plans or such stuff that is craft oriented. If anyone else has sites you wanna add, feel free to do so. Maybe add alittle as to why you find said site useful.
thanks

I like that mosiac link MH.. I would like to do a table in a sun pattern. I'm trying to design a native american pattern, but having trouble with it (my mom and brother had the artist drawing skills in the family), but I'll get it done soon I hope, then I can start "building" it.

www.walnuthollow.com/I started getting my wood supplies for woodburning and such from Walnut Hollow direct. One store in Fresno carries them, JoAnn's, but the selection is small and the prices are high. Used ta get them from the Wal Mart, but the last time I was in there, they were doing a remodel and the crafts section had been cut way down, the clerk said that was pretty much what they were gonna carry from here on out. Might be better off doing it this way anyhow as I've found stuff on their site that the local stores never had.

When I have more time, I'm gonna check those out. I bought Dennis a nice table saw a few years ago. I would make patterns, he'd cut htem, and I'd paint them. But we have really wanted real patterns to make things.

How about free patterns for whirlywhigs. Those things out in the yard that spin or move. Would love some made out of wood. But I have seen cool ones made out of 2 liter bottles. I just havent' had much luck finding any on the net. Any kind of yard deco patterns actually would be cool.

My grandpa had a couple of old ones in the yard. One was an old man chopping wood and another was a mama with a baby on her lap smackin its little bottom. ;D Loved to watch those things when the wind blew hard ....
