AFRICAN BUTTERFLY FISH I've had one or two fo these in my fish aquariums in the past. They never bothered the other fish and are kinda prehistoric looking. When you look down on them from the top, they're like a butterfly with their fins sticking out like wings. They cruise the tops of the tanks normally and shoot down to the bottom and back up occasionally. Really cool to watch.

Coffee Table Aquarium. I wonder how you feed the fish? One I saw like that before SF, you had to lift the lid. But it was smaller than this one.

When my kids lived at home, we had a huge tall hexagon shaped aquarium. They loved the "unusual" tropical fish, and we had a small pet store in town that liked to carry some of them. Another one the kids liked was the Black Ghost Knife fish. The fish I absolutely hate to this day because they ate all the other fish is Angel fish. Angel my butt, devil fish is more like it. We had 4 (before I flushed them down the toilet) and in one night one time, they ate or fatally injured $70 worth of other fish.

That last one is sooo cool ! I liked it but what if the fish died up in the "walkway" ? And I just noticed that the first tank pictured had Birds in the middle ! I wonder how? Or even why the 2 are together?

I think the birds are actually in the back part of the tank, so they can be got to that way. I guess they put them together to give the birds something to watch, ROFL. As for the walkway, guess if a fish died up there, you could always "blow" it through with something, either that or maybe it has a way to get in there.

Cool tanks. I have never had one. Seemed like a whole lot of work keeping them clean. I did have the occasional gold fish when my son was small.

I've had some that were a pain to take care of Spydie, and some that were no trouble at all. Guess it just depends on the fish you have at the time. I love having an aquarium, would have one now if I was ever home. I could probably have one at Eric's, but hate to since I'd have to ask them to take care of the fish when I was at my house. This woulda been so cool when I was working
