Bamboo placemats

Woven bamboo plywood is typically used as a renewable resource for covering walls and ceilings, but it can also be used to create twill tape bound placemats. The same technique works for making runners and coasters as well.

Materials:
Woven bamboo plywood
Quick-drying clear glue, such as Fabri-Tac
Twill tape, about ¾” to 1” wide
Tin snips
Scissors
