So, how many still iron clothes??? For the second time I am doing ironing for my husband. He usually has them dry cleaned. These clothes are his work clothes.
Ok, how do I make them look as good as the dry cleaners?? I have never used starch and would like to know how much of it to use and gee,,,,,I remember doing this chore when all of us kids were home too. I do love the smell of ironing, it is also a soothing thing to do. I just want to make sure all those dratted wrinkles are out!

I use spray starch. How much? As much as it takes to get it right.

Iron? What's that!?!?! Honestly, I did not know what ironing was until I was a freshman in high school and I went to a friends house and she was ironing her clothes and I asked her what the hell she was doing Our iron has always been our dryer and a hanger

I iron some on my clothes, and use light starch on a few cotton blouses...but usually I use the steam and it does pretty good. I don't especially care to iron tho. I got my winter clothes from the back closet in my bedroom closet now ( I swap out winter and summer clothes cause my bedroom closet won't hold all of them)lol. I need to iron some of them but keep putting it off.
