Seb, why did you not take the lamp down, and work on it where you could reach it.

I have had minor super glue incidences...but that got way out of hand sebs! I was gluing a piece of velcro and got the glue container stuck to my fingers. Yep, nail polish remover is a life safer for that! If not it would have taken hunks of skin off! Note...don't squeeze it so hard if it comes out too slowly for you! That is how I did it. Seems like I can only use a tube of it only once or twice. I end up gluing the top to it and only way to use it then is to cut the top off. Then I end up getting fingers stuck together. ;D

Eggggactly!!!! Don't ever try to be so frugal as to use those tubes twice!

I've heard of women who make their own underwear, lol. They said that once you start you never go back to store bought. I dunno, though. I really want to learn to sew that stretchy fabric for bathing suits cause I live next to a lake and I do a lot of swimming. I would at least like to be able to alter my suits in a decent manner ..... so I found this pretty neat .... I put the link in my favorites . Thanks! Just sit down and start experimenting! I started making ice skating outfits for my granddaughter a couple of months ago. I've made 8 in the last 5 weeks and just made one in one day (Thursday). Once you get the hang of keeping it from sliding around, etc., it's not that bad. I'm even to the point where I don't have to pin every little inch before I sew it.

You sure have been busy! We miss you coming here. You have to show us some of those outfits soon too. Just think if you could make your own panties. You could make them to fit how you like it and for prettiness also. Some I have had just ride up my butt and are uncomfortable but I got them because they were cute. If I want a thong I would buy a thong. I have never been a thong wearer tho. I have some, just ain't comfy to me.

I don't like thongs either, might as well not wear anything at all.

Thongs? If I wanted a constant "wedgie" feeling I'd wear a thong. Yuck.................. Spydie I have been taking some pics of the dresses and skirts, just gotta finish the roll of film and get it developed. I'm old fashioned, still use a 35 mm.

woodsmoke, you can work on the panties when you take a break from the quilt. Do you have any pretty quilts? If anybody has made some, you should take some pics of them and post em in the Photos board. Show us your quilt art. I think it is awesome someone can put those together. My mom made them but I never could even cut the dang things out right.

Ummmm .... I have only completely finished 2 quilts. I have 3 others that are almost done (just need the bindings sewn on). I'd be happy to share with you crafters . One of my newest is a dragon quilt for my son. It is a mostly black quilt, and with the wet weather and his dog he sleeps with, who sheds like crazy, I haven't been in any hurry to finish it until we get the dog and weather back under control. The dog is definitely about to become an outside dog! lol. I am gluing little crystals on for the dragon eyes, and I don't wanna have to wash it every week and watch all the little eyes fall off! lol. I'll get some pictures soon though.
