It seems like I spend the winter telling the kids to close the door and the spring, telling them to leave the door open. Even the bedroom doors to let the fresh air circulate in the house. This little bunny reminds them that it's a nice day to leave the door open. It could also decorate shelves and mantles.
Materials

Felt or low pile fur -- 1/4 yard or 3 sheets
Thread to match
Polyester Stuffing
Thread
Beans, rice or BBs for weighting the bottom section
Embroidery thread for the nose, fingers and toes
7mm Movable eyes
Glue
Ribbon, small flowers and decorations
Optional scraps of a contrasting felt for an inner ear color
