my buddy rocky and i decided to take our daughters out to tappan lake to try to get them their first catfish of the year. the lake was completely thawed but the water was COLD !! the fish were biting pretty good. my daughter Jessica landed a nice fat channel about 3 1/2 lbs and Rockys daughter Cloey landed 2 channels (the biggest about 2 lbs). the girls had a great time !!! all of the fish were caught on cut shad.

Great job! I bet they liked that. Hope ya get yer camera fixed someday. Our waters are infested with spoonbill snaggers right now. But soon I'll be out there. Catchin fish, hopefully.  |

It's always fun to take the kids fishing.I can't wait for some warm weather so I can take my family out fishing.

Me and Barnwood and anuther friend went fishin yesterday. Most of the day, even. Cawt nary a thing. not even a bite. They cawt a nice sunburn tho. Was a nice day to be out. Rain has warmed the water up a bit. Wont be long.

i hope the weather warms up here SOON ............its still pretty chilly up here and all of the rivers are flooded !!
