Lovin' Man's Deer Chili
1 lb sausage 1 lb deer burger 1 large onion 1 medium bell pepper (diced) 2 T. chili powder salt & pepper to taste 3 (14 oz) cans tomatoes 2 (15oz ) cans chili beans.. hot or mild - your preference
Brown sausage, deer burger, onion and pepper in a large skilled. Drain excess grease. Transfer mixture to large kettle and add chili powder, salt an dpepper. Stir in tomatoes and beans. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to simmer for 20-25 minutes. Makes 8 servings.
when he wants to make it hot, he adds a couple of cut up habanero's!
We usually have corn muffins with green chili's and cheese in them with this.

Sounds good, wonder if I could substitute linguica (Portuguese sausage) for the sausage?
