Hitting The trails in WV!
There is nothing better in My point of view.. Than pitching a tent beside a beautiful river, be it a large one or even one on the head waters! Falling to sleep with the musical sound of water flowing over rocks, the sounds of the hoot owls in the trees, The tree frogs looking for a mate.... Ahhh that is the life! Sitting beside a campfire roasting a hot dog or making smores... The heck with the 5 star dining stuff ! I can't wait till summer gets here and I can do a little camping....
Here is a link for some nice campgrounds in WV if that is what you like ..... Me personally I like to find a spot beside a river and camp..... There are a few nice spots in Webster County, a couple down Replete next to an old mill, I have pictures of that one I will have to find. Up Gauley river and Also Williams river .... You can go up Elk river for a nice place to camp plenty of rainbow trout and also browns. Up Elk is a catch and release area... Down Elk the river gets deeper and there are some nice chanel cat. Elk flows down to the Sutton Dam.
So If you want a nice vacation and to do a little bit of old fashioned camping then I think WV is your ticket to beauty and relaxation...
