Is fishing in the rain like singing in the rain! Anyway I love to fish on cloudy or rainy days. I started out in the woods at a lake where most people don't go because it is a half mile walk. I caught about 5 or 6 bass in a hour & a half. I walked back to my favorite plasce at the upper bass lake. I fished over near a young couple that were on a small handicap dock. The first three cast I hooked a nice bass on a small worm. Three minutes later the young lady walks over and said to me what are you fishing with we have been here 2 hours and have not even had a bite. I said worms but I am usin the BWAB to which she said I never herd of it. I told her a little about it then she walked back to her boyfriend. Then I caught another bass. I decided to give them a bobber to try and also gave him a rig.He tried to cast it but his sinker went 20 feet ahead of the bobber. He was using 6 pound test and the 1/2 ounce sinker. His cast was not smooth and the whipping motion made it even worse. I walked over and tried his rod and it was the line too light. I let him try mine and he had no trouble. he switched to his other 12 [poundtest line rod and did better. I contined to fish for another hour and pulled in a 13 1/2 inch fat trout a perch and a 7 inch sun fish plus 8 more bass. I was out of worms again just as it got dark. They thanked me for the bobber and said they would look a the web site and try the bobber for cats this saturday! I had a nice 3 to 4 hour evening fishing in a light rain with the sweet smell and beauty of the great outdoors! I usually fish catch and release and did not even kill a fish since most catches with the BWAB are lip catches.Hope everyone catches some fish soon!
