Welp, instead of buying a new fancy fish finder, I decided to go the old primitive way. A forked stick!
I cut me one outta a willow tree an headed down to the lake. Standin there an holdin it out, it pointed right to water. Imagine that. So I thawt ta myself, " If it can find water, it orta find fish".
I like ta drowned.
I didnt take in to consideration that fish dont stay in one place very long. 
I have since found that forked stick works better at holdin my pole up off the ground.
