Here's my moonflower vines this year. Only had one come up last yr. This yr put em in the back yard and 4 came up. They open up in the afternoon and stay open all night then close during the day until the blooms fall off and more open. They smell good too. Here's my only lil watermelon. lol I have had a bunch of em bloom and get about the size of my thumb and then somethin ate em up. There are mole trails so thinkin those sonofguns ate em up. Not sure why they missed that one and let it grow. I guess they did that just to make me mad that its the only one they will let grow. grrrrrrrr That flower bed is somewhat in the shade so I am actually surprised its growing. I just threw some seeds down for the fun of it and was happy to see it grow.

Very nice. I have alot of moon flowers but mine are more funnel shapped1 Mine get a roud ball with sharp needle like petrusions all round the ball looks lke a green golf ball full of brown seeds It breaks open when it dries ut and spreads a dozen or more seeds about the size of a apple seed! They are white and open just like yours. my four oc'locks are really nice and are getting a large blak seed all over the plant so I will have lots of them to give away this year along with moon flowers! 4 New beds of letuce just has two leaves on hope its not to late. I also planted endive in with the lettuce! Start cutting the new spruts off on your tomatoes if you want the small tomatoes to mature befroe the frost!

I will trade ya a few of mine for some of your moonvine. That is if it makes seeds good this yr. Last yr only had one vine come up and only saved 5 seeds from it! Most of the pods were empty. Might have been something to do with the drought we had. Don't know why it didn't make much seed. Hoping I will have plenty from these vines tho. These seeds are round and real big. Only has one seed per pod.
