I went to look for my mummy's pine cones last night in the christmas and I can't find em any more.... They were huge ! each about 10 inches tall and she had 3 ..... Anyone know what kind of pine they would have come from or even better got any pines that big close to them to send me a few ?

I seen the big ones like that out in Northern Cal and Oregon, I think they come from the Seqouia national forest, but may come from someplace else, We use to use them in our campfires, worked really good.

If I were still in Georgia, you'd have some of those big pine cones Snowflake. There were trees near where I lived in Savannah that had huge cones on them. I wish I had grabbed up some but didn't. I thought they were white pines but they have another name and don't remember. Their needles where over a foot long.
