These tips come to you by Mama Mahjong.lol
1)Broken Glass.use a dry cotton ball to pick up little pieces of broken glass-the fibers catch what you can't see. 2)No More Mosquitoes, place a dryer sheet in your pocket,it keeps them away. 3)Squirrel Away,to keep squirrels from eating your plants sprinkle with cayenne pepper. It doesn't hurt the plant and squirrels won't come near it. 3)Foggy Windshield, buy a chalkboard eraser and keep in your glovebox. When the windows fog,rub with the eraser!Works better than a cloth. 4)Newspaper Weeds Away, start planting your plants in the spring, work with nutrients in your soil.Put wet newspapers in layers around the plants overlapping as you go.Then cover with mulch and forget about weeds.Weeds will get through some gardening plastic but they will never get through wet newspapers.

Those are really great ideas. I knew about the pepper, but not the others. Tell Mama Mahjong thanks for teaching them to you so you could share them with us.

Thanks Mama Mahjong!! I now have the spiciest flowers in the area. I don't have that big of a garden to be feeding all the neighborhood critters. I do believe they have brought their friends and families to dine on my first of the spring flowers!! I meant to leave something for the person who takes my place here in the cold, cold north.. it just gives hope at the end of all that snow... the few that are left will NOT taste like the first.
Are the purple wild flowers that come after the lilacs in bloom yet?
