Want to read great books ? Have you always intended to learn from the great works of history, philosophy, and science? If you know what you’re looking for, the Internet and your home computer can be your own private library.
“Certainly the Internet has raised the profile of information and reading in society,” says Wendy Newman, president of the 2,700-member Canadian Library Association. “Readers can read entire books online, get information about books and genres, and talk to other readers about books.”
