Exceptionally cold weather is bad for water collectors in a solar greenhouse. With the temp at 0 this week my greenhouse has gone down too low and some thing froze. When the temp goes down too many days it also effects the over all temp. I need another heat sorce that cost pennies and that sorce is compost Manure in the northern corner in a compost pile is the answer and will give fresh compost for plants in the spring! Here is a link to this type of set up! attra.ncat.org/attra-pub/compostheatedgh.html

I kinda do this now in my bedroom. Dirty laundry piles generate heat much like compost piles.
But thanks for the link. I got it saved now.
