WEll I thought that since most of us are planning on planting a garden or two this year maybe we can share some tips that we use or have found on the web. I have been looking into organic pest control for the gardens this year and ran accross this really cool tip. it is about the use of Garlic, which most bugs hate !!! Garlic for Pest Control Plant garlic and chives in several pots that can be moved around in the garden where it is needed during the season to deter aphid moths etc. It saves space in the garden and I don't have to transplant the chives every year to where the beans etc will be planted. This is a cool Idea. Gonna have to try this one. I also know planting marigolds around tomatoes works real well ! plant a marrigold in between each tomato plant. Keeps lots of little bugger off plants. ;D

If you se wild garlic let some go to seed and you will see some really pretty purple flowers of some varities! Also watch where you plant sunflowers because they stop growth of some plants within a foot of their stems! Grind that garlic up in some water and strain it for a spray tokeep even rabbits away!

I said to her and her sister that it is called "Tough Love" You kids aren't mooching no more.Find a job and learn how to support yourselves on your income and not on ours anymore. Maybe next week we can start our garden.....Will be past the frost time around here.
