This one might have been shared here before, I wouldn't be surprised as it is so simple.
Removing wallpaper is a breeze with a mixture of cheap liquid fabric softner and water. I didn't measure either, just a few glugs of each.
The man painting my mom's house said we were gonna have to pay someone to get that stuff off... We didn't. soak it with the mixture and the stuff pull off the first layer and the second wipes away.

Wish I had known this. I had a heck of a time taking a border off my bedroom and it left the glue behind. Sheeesh, no way I could sand that off so I just painted over it. I can hardly see it if I don't look to hard.

it worked really well... paper separated and it came off easily in two layers. I thought the underside would really stick... but it doesn't.

If I ever decide to remove the wallpaper in my bedroom, you better believe I will try this. Fabric Softener and Water....Hmmmm. About how long do you let it soak before starting to try and remove it?

To Sky from Sebs; use a spray bottle... get it all wet and then peal the paper off... comes off in 2 sheets. That is IF the person before you used wallpaper paste. Leave it on long enough to get the wall you are working on wet. Spray bottle works best.

I had to remove wallpaper once, and I agree, i would never put up wallpaper. I would rather just paint different colors.
